Hubby was kind enough to test this shaving gel for me, as I also wanted to start featuring some products that men could use as well.  Here are his comments on the shaving gel below.

When you first squeeze the shaving gel out of the tube it looks like brown tar. But add a little water & it foams up nicely. You can really smell the spearmint & peppermint. It rinses off cleanly. After shaving my skin felt smooth. I would probably repurchase this. I would also try other Dr. Bronner’s products for men.

There you have it peeps! Short & sweet from my hubby. Should I call him eco hubby?  Anyway, I was curious about the shaving gel after hubby tried it, so I decided to try it as well.  Here’s my two cents: To me the texture was more like a thick paste. It smelled like toothpaste to me. It did foam up well when I added some water & rinsed off without residue. My skin felt a little tingly afterwards but that subsided. Using it on my legs I would probably use less than what hubby used for his beard.

Have you ever tried Dr. Bronner’s Shaving Gel? What did you think of it?
