This castile soap has a refreshing citrus scent thanks to the orange peel oil and lemon oil. As for appearance, it’s a light yellow colour that reminds me of vegetable oil. If you use it pure without diluting it can be a bit dry until you splash the water on your hands. Hubby seemed to have an allergic reaction to this soap so he’s stopped using it as a body wash. We’re currently using it as hand soap and for regular household cleaning as well. It’s slightly more expensive than Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap and has a bit of an oily film to it when used for cleaning. Otherwise, it works well. We’re going to test this a bit longer and decide from there if we want to repurchase it.

This ointment is thick, white and smells mildly of Calendula and Chamomile. I tested it out for my All Natural First Aid Kit post and it worked amazingly well at healing some scratches I had on my legs. The scratches that I didn’t put the ointment on healed much slower. Hubby also used it when he got razor burn from shaving his beard off. His face was bright red, bumpy and inflamed where his beard was. I made him slather this ointment on every night. Within a couple of days his razor burn was almost entirely gone. This would also be great for those with little kids. If you don’t want to use something like polysporin, TheraWise’s Healing Ointment works just as well, if not better. I would definitely repurchase this.
