Product Review: Lippy Girl, Pi Pressed Mineral Foundation

Ingredients: Zinc Stearate*, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Zinc Oxide, Ethyl Macadamiate, Jojoba Esters, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Lauroyl Lysine, Malic Acid, May Contain (+/-) Mica (CI 77019), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Tin Oxide (CI 77861), Ultramarines (CI 77007)) *Plant Derived/origine végétale

Darcey Diehl, the founder of Lippy Girl kindly sent me two samples of their new Pi Pressed Mineral Foundation. I received Peachy Keen and Golden Child in the mail. It turns out that Peachy Keen is the best match for my skin tone. But while Golden Child is shade lighter, I like to use it as a concealer on my blemishes and under my eyes. Those who are scent averse can rejoice that this foundation is basically scentless. As for texture, I found it a bit dense and hard to get on my makeup brush. But it goes onto the skin nicely and left a smooth matte finish behind. The coverage is medium and buildable to full coverage. I really enjoyed trying out this foundation. It didn’t break me out at all, or cause any reactions which is very common for my sensitive skin. I would definitely consider purchasing the full sized product in the future.
