Sudsatorium, Kiwi Herman Body Lotion and Naughty Soap

Hi, My name is Hazel and I’m a Sudsatorium addict. Here are some the latest things I’m loving from one of my fave Canadian brands. There will be another post soon with reviews on the haircare products I’ve bought from Sudsatorium so stay tuned!

Kiwi Herman

Kiwi Herman Body Lotion

Ingredients: Fresh Organic Ravensara Leaf Infusion (Ravensara aromatica), Fresh Organic Coconut Water (Cocos nucifera), Fair Trade Wild Harvested Ucuuba Butter (Virola sebifera), Fair Trade Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera), Fresh Organic Kiwi Fruit (Actinidia chinensis), Palm-Free Vegetable-Derived Cetyl Alcohol, Organic Jasmine Absolute (Jasminum officinale), Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla planifolia), Non-GMO Lactobacillus Ferment (Fermented Korean Cabbage)

OMG. I have to rave about this body lotion. I love the smell so much. It’s so relaxing and yet refreshing at the same time. It takes me to a sensory paradise that I want to live in all day long. The scent is kind of tropical with the Kiwi fruit and Coconut oil, but you can also smell the Jasmine and Vanilla. Besides the smell, I love the way it works. It’s not thick in texture, so you wouldn’t guess how moisturizing it is. I love to slather it on after my shower. It absorbs quickly leaving my skin hydrated but not greasy. Let’s talk about the properties of these ingredients. Ravensara is from Madagascar and is said to have anti-deppresant, anti-bacterial and even aphrodisiac properties. That explains why I love the smell! Ucuuba butter comes from the Amazon region of South America has anti-aging properties and is used to treat skin issues like acne, eczema, and dry skin. Kiwi fruit contains vitamin C and vitamin E which helps keep skin firm and helps fight free radicals. Combining these two wonderful ingredients with coconut oil, coconut water and kiwi fruit makes for a thin but very nourishing body lotion. I’ll definitely repurchase this lotion and keep it in rotation with my other favourite body lotions.

Naughty soap

Naughty Face and Body Soap

Ingredients: Fresh Organic Licorice Root Decoction, Organic Rapeseed Oil. Organic Coconut Oil, Vegetable-Derived Sodium Stearate, Sodium Hydroxide, Coco Glucoside, Organic Vegetable Glycerin, Fair Trade Organic Rosewood Oil, Organic Sandalwood Oil, Organic Bamboo Charcoal, Sea Salt

I have to confess that using Naughty was actually quite the opposite experience! This dark black soap left my skin soft and kept my skin clear. My skin didn’t misbehave when I used this soap! Sometimes I get acne on my back or neckline and Naughty kept me from breaking out. Licorice root is anti-inflammatory and known for helping with acne, eczema and psoriasis. It also helps reduce the appearance of age spots and hyperpigmentation. Rapeseed oil provides your skin with anti-oxidants, coconut oil helps your skin retain moisture, and bamboo charcoal is helps absorb excess oil. I’ll have to repurchase this after I finish the other soaps I’ve bought from Sudsatorium!

Holistic Vanity, Rosacea Care, Healing Immortelle Tonic – Review

This tonic is my HG toner. When my skin is irritated and inflamed this toner helps to calm everything down. I always make sure to have this tonic in my cabinet. I never want to run out as it works for my skin so well! I’ve repurchased this tonic many times and will continue to do so.

Acure Organics, Moroccan Argan Oil+ Argan Stem Cell ConditionerReview

This conditioner didn’t perform as well for me as I would have liked. When I used this conditioner, my hair felt flat after I dried it. I won’t be repurchasing.

John Masters Organics, Lavender and Avocado Intensive Conditioner (sample) – Review to come

This 10 ml sample size was only a single use for my hair type. I’ve got very thirsty hair. I liked the way my hair felt after using the sample so when I finish my current conditioner I’m going to buy the full size to see how long term use affects my hair.

Cost: $34.00 CAD, 207 ml / 7 oz
Available at: John Masters, Clementine Fields, Fresh Faced
Brand Origin: USA
Rating: 4/5

John Masters Organics, Rose & Apricot Hair Milk (sample) – Review to come

Another 10 ml sample size. This one I mixed with my DIY leave-in conditioner and it was great for helping to keep my hair frizz free. It gave my leave-in a light hold that I liked. I don’t like the smell too much as I’m not much a fan of rose scents. But I’ve bought the full size so that I can continue to mix it with my leave-in.

Cost: $40.25 CAD, 118 ml / 4 oz
Available at: John Masters, Thair, Ambrosia Natural Foods, Fresh Faced
Brand Origin: USA
Rating: 4/5

John Masters Organics, Honey & Hibiscus Hair Reconstructor (sample) – Review to come

I really liked this 10 ml sample size of this product. The hair reconstructor was thick enough to provide some intensive moisture for my thirsty hair. I’ve also bought the full size of this to test out for a longer period of time. This product smells great. I really love the honey and hibiscus smell.

Cost: $39.00 CAD, 118 ml / 4 oz

Lavina, Barbary Fig Seed OilReview

Lavina’s Barbary Fig Seed Oil remains one of my favourite oils and companies as well. Barbary Fig Seed Oil is packed with lots of properties that are beneficial to the skin: its high amounts of linoleic acid (an omega 6 fatty acid), Vitamin E, and anti-inflammatories such as betalain and zinc. I also love Lavina’s Jojoba Oil and Argan Oil. I use Lavina’s Argan Oil in my DIY leave-in conditioner. I have repurchased this oil many times and will continue to do so.

Cost: $30.00 CAD, 10 ml / 0.33 fl oz
Available at: Lavina
Brand Origin: Canada
Rating: 5/5

Egyptian Magic, All Purpose Skin Cream – No Review

I received this jar of cream in the Think Dirty Clean Beauty Box. There’s no doubt, it’s a great all around skin cream with very simple ingredients. The price point is reasonable as well. However, I can get a large jar of organic shea butter from New Directions Aromatics that costs less in the long run and gives me the same results. I won’t be repurchasing this product.

Cost: $38.52 CAD, 118 ml / 4 oz

Sudsatorium, Naughty Face and Body SoapReview

I have to admit, I love Sudsatorium’s Naughty soap. I’ve tried some of Sudsatorium’s products and so far they keep hitting out of the park! I guess that means I’m an addict. Naughty is soap containing Bamboo Charcoal, Licorice Root Decoction, Sandalwood, Rosewood, Rapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, and Sea Salt. It left my skin soft and kept my skin clear. Sometimes I get body acne and Naughty kept me from breaking out. I’ll have to repurchase this after I finish the other soaps I’ve bought from Sudsatorium!

Parkdale Butter, Cocoanut Body Butter and Espresso Face Balm

CocoaNut Body Butter

Ingredients:  Organic cocoa butter, organic coconut oil, organic shea butter, love.

I don’t know about you, but I love products that are eco-friendly, made locally and have a super simple ingredients list! Parkdale Butter’s Cocoanut Body Butter gets the green light from me on all fronts. The whipped texture of this body butter makes it easy to spread on damp or dry skin. And if your skin is super dry then it will love this body butter. Since my skin is slightly oily, I found it took a while to be absorbed. So I was walking around the house at times trying to avoid my adorable cat as he has long black hair and it would stick to my legs if he came around me after I’d spread this on. As you can imagine this body butter smells mostly of coconut oil and shea butter, which are mild scents. So those who are scent sensitive need not worry about added fragrances. This is as pure as you can get!

Cost: $24.99 CAD, 240 ml / 8.1 oz (also available in 120 ml size $14.99 CAD)

Espresso Face Balm

Ingredients:  Non-GMO soy butter, green coffee bean essential oil, love.

This is a lovely face balm, again with a simple ingredients list. Simple need not be boring! I love the smell of the green coffee bean essential oil. I no longer drink coffee so this is as close as I can get to having a morning coffee every day! While this is intended as a face balm, I also like to use it on my body as a multi-purpose product. The soy butter didn’t break me out though it’s a bit heavy for my skin at this time, since it’s summer. My combination oily skin would like this face balm better in the winter time. Those with dry skin would fare better using this in the summer. The texture of this balm is also whipped and light, making it easy to spread without pulling delicate facial skin. If you love the smell of coffee and need a great moisturizing balm this this is the one for you!

Cost: $24.99 CAD, 120 ml / 4 oz (also available in 60 ml size $14.99 CAD)

Odacite, Hand and Heel Therapy and Body Scrub

I am such a lucky, lucky lady. Jamie, the founder of Petal and Post kindly sent me some samples of Odacite’s Spa Collection to test out. I have reviewed some of Odacite’s concentrates and loved some while I was indifferent to another so I was interested to see how their spa collection would work for me. Read on for the full review!

Odacite, Intensive Hand and Heel Therapy **

Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice*, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Vaccinium Myrtillus (Bilberry) Fruit/Leaf Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil*, Cetyl Alcohol, Galactoarabinan, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Nut Butter*, Apis Mellifera (Beeswax) Wax, Water/Aqua/Eau, Calophyllum Inophyllum (Foraha) Extract*, Salix Nigra (Willow Bark) Extract, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Oil*, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Wax, Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Flower Oil*, Litsea Cubeba Fruit Oil, Krameria Triandra (Rhatany) Root Extract, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Citrus Paradisi (Pink Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Salvia Sclarea (Clary Sage) Flower/Leaf Oil*, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Oil*, Mentha Spicata (Spearmint) Leaf Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract*, Xanthan Gum, Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol. *Organic Origin

I’m in love. This hand and heel therapy cream works amazing! It’s summertime here in Toronto and one thing I sometimes struggle with is finding a heel cream that is nourishing enough without being too heavy. Odacite has made the perfect cream for smooth, sandal ready feet. What surprises me is the texture of this cream. It seems thin when I first squeezed it out of the sample bottle. But it packs powerfully nourishing ingredients like Shea Nut Butter, Beeswax, Aloe Vera, Sunflower Oil and Olive Fruit Oil. My feet soaked up the cream quickly and stayed hydrated all day long without being slippery. As for the scent, it’s a nice, mild herbal scent that I found refreshing. Once my skin absorbed it the scent dissipated. I’m definitely going to repurchase this cream again.

Cost: $45.00 CAD, 120 ml / 4 oz
Available at: Petal and Post
Rating: 5/5

Odacite, Invigorating Jasmine-Mimosa Body Scrub **

Ingredients: Water/Aqua/Eau, Juglans Regia (Walnut) Shell Powder, Decyl Glucoside, Lauryl Glucoside, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice*, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Glycerin, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Seed Extract*, Spirulina Platensis (Algae) Extract*, Lactobacillus/Arundinaria Gigantea (Bamboo) Ferment Filtrate, Chitosan Succinamide, Cymbopogon Flexuosus (Lemongrass) Leaf Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Flower/Leaf Oil*, Acacia Decurrens (Mimosa) Flower Extract, Jasminum Sambac (Jasmine) Flower Oil, Cananga Odorata (Ylang-Ylang) Flower Oil, Litsea Cubeba (Litsea Cubeba) Fruit Oil, Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Oil, Citrus Hystrix (Combava) Peel Oil, Filipendula Ulmaria (Meadowsweet) Leaf Extract, Silybum Marianum (Milk Thistle) Seed Extract*, Vetiveria Zizaniodes (Vetiver) Root Oil, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Gluconolactone, Sodium Benzoate. *Organic Origin

Here’s another winning product! I loved the smell of this scrub. It’s floral yet fresh smelling at the same time. The balance of floral and citrus oils in this scrub helps it feel luxurious but not overpowering. Those who are scent sensitive may find the smell strong. But once I washed the scrub off the smell didn’t linger. The walnut shell helps to scrub your skin smooth without being too abrasive, while the algae and rice provide the moisturizing properties. Just note that this scrub isn’t recommended for use on the face. I liked using it on my feet to help get them super smooth after scrubbing with a foot file. No scratchy feet for me! A little also goes a long way with this scrub so you don’t need to slap it on in copious amounts. It’s a tad pricey for a scrub so once I finish my other scrubs I may purchase the full size and see how long it lasts me.

Cost: $55.00 CAD, 240ml / 8 oz
Available at: Petal and Post
Rating: 4/5

Flowers to Fragrance, Lavender and Geranium Cleansing LotionReview

This cleanser is a pleasure to use. It’s texture is creamy and the smell of the lavender and geranium is so soothing. It feels like a luxurious treat at the end of a long work day. I love that Flowers to Fragance is a family run business from rural Ontario. I love to shop local whenever I can, especially when the products are this great!

Cost: $19.99 CAD, 250 ml / 1 oz

Flowers to Fragrance, Deodorant Spray in Citrus Lavender  – Review

Unfortunately this deodorant spray didn’t work too well for me once the weather warmed up significantly. It worked fine for me in the cooler weather but also didn’t last all day long. I’m also detoxing at the moment so maybe that has to factored in as well. Anyway I may not repurchase this since it didn’t work well for me.

Cost: $11.99 CAD, 250 ml / 1 oz
Available at: Flowers to Fragrance

Lotus Wei, Joy Juice Mist and Inspired Action MistReview

I’ve loved Lotus Wei’s aromatherapy for quite a while now. I’ve tried other aromatherapy brands but I always seem to come back to Lotus Wei. There’s something very special about the vibrational and energetic qualities of Lotus Wei’s aromatherapy.  Besides the mists I’ve also reviewed their elixirs, serums and perfumes. I have no doubt I will be repurchasing again after I’ve finished off some the other aromatherapy I have in my stash.

Cost: $40.00 CAD, 50 ml / 2 oz

Marie Veronique Advanced, Serum Du Jour (sample) – Review

I finally finished my sample sized bottle of Serum Du Jour. I’m actually surprised how long it lasted. A small amount really goes a long way and helps to offset the price of the full sized bottle. Those on a budget should keep in mind that sometimes you get what you pay for. So pick and choose which items you want to splurge on. This serum is totally worth the price. I will repurchase this serum once I finish off some other serums I have in my cabinet. This sample was provided for review but all opinions expressed are my own.

Cost: Full Size, $90.00 USD, 30 ml / 1 oz

Marie Veronique Advanced, Eye Recovery Serum (sample) – Review

This was another sample provided for review but wow this one really blew my socks off. I can’t tell you how many under eye creams I’ve tried that did nothing at all for my dark circles. This product combined with the lightening serum proved to be a great duo for me. My under eye circles are almost gone. I’ve run out of the sample sized bottle that I was sent and now I’m planning on buying the full sized bottle soon.

Cost: Full Size, $75.00 USD, 15 ml / 0.5 oz
Available at: Marie Veronique, Lilou Organics
Rating: 5/5

Marie Veronique Advanced, Luminous Lightening Serum (sample) – Review

I love, love, love this lightening serum. It worked so well for me that my hyperpigmentation spots are almost gone. I’ve already repurchased a full sized bottle of this serum after having finished the sample size they sent me for consideration.

Cost: Full Size, $110.00 USD, 30 ml / 1 oz
Available at: Marie Veronique

Herbaceutikals, Smooth On Lip BalmReview

This is a nice lip balm. I really love the simple ingredients list and knowing that all the ingredients are safe. I have so many lip balms at this point however that I may not be repurchasing for quite some time. But I do love the farm to product ethics of this brand.

Cost: $4.00 USD, 4 g / 0.15 oz
Available at: Vibe’s BeautyHerbaceutikals

Sudsatorium, Luscious Clay Soap – No Review

One of my favourite local brands, Sudsatorium sells on etsy and is also available now at many stores within Toronto. The luscious clay soap was the first soap of theirs that I have tried. Though I’m a big lover of their conditioners, shampoo and lotions. Now I can say that I love their soaps as well. Besides making me smell heavenly, I loved the slightly gritty texture of the soap which was great for exfoliating. Plus the rhassoul and kaolin clay are amazing at keeping the skin detoxified and purified. This is one soap I’m definitely going to repurchase and if I really like you I’ll give it to you as a gift as well!

Cost: Small, $3.95 CAD, 50 g / 1.8 oz , Large, 100 g / 3.3 oz for $6.95)

Lotus Wei Mists and Perfume

I love aromatherapy and the results it can have on my psyche and body. As a person who is quite sensitive to my surroundings having things that are beautiful aid in keeping me calm and happy. Lotus Wei mists have become a part of my daily ritual and I love using them so much I thought I would share with you, my dear readers. Those who are very scent sensitive may not find these ideal but for me the mists are the mild since they are diluted with water. The perfumes much stronger since they use the essential oils suspended in grape alcohol.

Inspired Action Mist

Ingredients: Essential oils *Citrus aurantifolia (Lime), *Elettaria cardamomum (Cardamom), *Citrus Limon (Lemon), Schinus molle (Pink Pepper), Pimenta racemosa (Bay Rum), Pimenta dioica (Allspice), and hand-collected flower essences of Epidendrum radicans (Fire Star Orchid), Caesalpinia pulcherrima (Red Bird of Paradise), Kalanchoe tubiflora (Chandelier Succulent), Euphrasia nemorosa (Euphrasia), Nelumbo nucifera (Lotus), and gem essence of Fluorite in pure water. *Certified Organic.

This mist is great for getting rid of “mind fog” and helping you focus on the matter at hand. I like to start my day by misting myself with all the mists and this is the one I start with. It helps me jump start my day and wake up. On the weekends when I’m writing up my blog posts it helps me to get more done in a shorter amount of time. The smell is slightly citrusy with some floral notes. Dissolves: Procrastination, lack of follow through, feeling stuck, writer’s block, indecision, projects left undone, distracted mind.

Pure Energy Mist

Ingredients: Essential oils of Citrus paradisi (Grapefruit), *Cinnamomum zeylanicum (Cinnamon), Coffea Arabica (Coffee), *Piper nigrum (Black Pepper) and hand-collected flower essences of Punica granatum (Pomegranate), Achillea millefolium (Yarrow), Trifolium pretense (Red Clover), Crassula ovata (Jade Succulent), Nelumbo nucifera (Lotus) and gem essence of Black Tourmaline in pure waterCertified Organic

When I’m feeling exhausted and need energy to get through the day I reach for this mist. The citrus-spicey smell helps perk me up and somehow gives me enough energy to get through practically anything. Dissolves: Fatigue due to computer & cell phone use, travel, or radiation; accumulation of energies that are not your own; ; vulnerability, whether physically or energetically; taking on others’ stress; feeling invisible, weak, or not clear about what you want

Joy Juice Mist

Ingredients: Pure essential oils of Citrus sinensis (Sweet Orange), *Jasminum grandiflorum (Jasmine), *Artemisia pallens (Davana), Aniba rosaeodora (Rosewood),Tagetes minuta (Tagetes), *Citrus aurantifolia (Lime), and hand-collected flower essences of Spiraea tomentosa (Pink Spirea), Lotus corniculatus (Birdsfoot Lotus), Berlandiera lyrata (Chocolate Flower), Osteospermum ecklonis (African Daisy), Nelumbo nucifera (Lotus), and gem essence of Red Garnet in pure water. *Certified Organic.

Some days I take things too seriously. Joy juice mist helps lighten the mood and reminds me to take things with a grain of salt and laughter. This is one of the sweetest smelling mists that Lotus Wei has. It’s also a softer scent and reminds me more of conventional perfume in the scent profile. But it’s definitely not a conventional perfume in any way. Conventional perfumes don’t affect your mood like aromatherapy does because most conventional perfumes are made from synthetic ingredients. Which is why I love aromatherapy: you get to smell nice and reap the benefits of using essential oils. Dissolves: Seriousness, feeling the weight of responsibilities, worry, overcomplicating things, repressing your inner child.

Quiet Mind Mist

Ingredients: Essential oils of *Pelargonium graveolens (Geranium), Coriandrum sativum (Coriander), *Eugenia caryophyllata (Clove), *Citrus deliciosa (Mandarin), *Citrus limon (Lemon) and hand-collected flower essences of Strelitzia reginae (Bird of Paradise), Passiflora incarnata (Passionflower), Brugmansia arborea (Datura), Taraxacum officinale (Dandelion), Nelumbo nucifera (Lotus), and gem essence of Kyanite in pure water. *Certified Organic.

When my mind is racing and won’t shut up this mist helps to put a stop to the hamster wheel running in my brain. It’s like a pause button when I’m feeling stressed out! It’s not surprising that this mist contains a lot of citrus in it. The passion flower, lotus and bird of paradise help moderate the stimulating effects of the citrus essential oils so that your mind quiets but remains clear. Dissolves: Busy mind, mental chatter, restless sleep, physical tension (especially neck & shoulders), over-analyzing.

Infinite Love Perfume

Ingredients: Certified Organic *Vitus Vinifera (Grape Alcohol), essential oils of *Citrus deliciosa (Red Mandarin), *Pelargonium roseum (Rose Geranium), Monarda fistulosa (Monarda), Cymbopogon citrates (Lemongrass), Rosa damascena (Rose absolute), Rosa damascena (Rose Wax), and Apies millifera (Beeswax Absolute), and hand-collected flower essences of Bauhinia blakeana (Hong Kong Orchid), Epilobium augustifolium (Fireweed), Magnolia liliflora (Pink Magnolia), Hieracium aurantiacum (Hawkweed), Nelumbo nucifera (Lotus) and gem essence of Pink Tourmaline. *Certified Organic.

The scent is soft and sensual. It reminds me to be gentle with myself and to practise self-care when I’m not feeling well. I’m not normally a rose fan but I do love this blend. Dissolves: Irritation, being hard on yourself, hard heart, feeling attacked, resentment, anger, jealousy, codependency, giving away all your energy to others and forgetting your own needs, past trauma, breaking through old patterns.

Inner Peace Perfume

Ingredients: Certified Organic Vitus vinifera (Grape Alcohol), essential oils of *Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender), Coriandrum sativum (Coriander), *Juniperus communis (Juniper), *Pelargonium graveolens (Geranium), Cedrus atlantica (Cedar), and *Vetiveria zizanioides (Vetiver) and hand-collected flower essences of Lupinus arcticus (Arctic Lupine), Chorisia speciosa (Silk Floss), Sophora secundiflora (Mountain Laurel), Hibiscus rosasinensis (Hibiscus), Nelumbo nucifera (Lotus) and gem essence of Emerald. *Cerified Organic

This mist also helps me to cope when I’m stressed out but in a different way. After misting myself with this I feel like I don’t have to act like I’m the general manager of the universe. I remember to turn things over to God and relax. I don’t normally like vetiver either but combined with the other flower essences in this mist I can hardly smell it. Dissolves: High levels of stress and overwhelm; feeling a lack of support; anxiety, nervousness, heart palpitations, fear, lack of confidence, nervous about public speaking.

I’ve repurchased Lotus Wei‘s mists, perfumes, serums and elixirs many times before. After trying all the formats I’ve discovered I prefer the mists and perfumes over the serums and elixirs.

Cost: $40.00 CAD, 50 ml / 2 oz
Available at: Detox Market, Clementine Fields, Lotus Wei
Rating: 5/5

Note: There’s a new mist available only on the Lotus Wei website called Radiant Energy which is replacing the Pure Energy mist. I’m hoping it will soon be available in Canada!

Have you ever tried any Lotus Wei products?

Beautiful Curls, Reviving Tonic – No review

I bought this at my local Whole Foods store. I was sorely disappointed in this product. It didn’t do anything to “revive” my curls on day two after washing. It also didn’t help to keep the frizz at bay. I’m not going to repurchase this item.

Cost: $ 9.99 CAD, 295 ml / 10 oz
Available at: Whole Foods, Beautiful Curls, iHerb, Vitacost

Pure Chimp, Super One Facial Oil – No review

I received this in the previous Green Beauty Swap from Katie Vibes. Unfortunately when I started using it on my face I started breaking out. It’s too bad because I really loved the smell of this oil (banana extract). I finished it off using it as a body oil and didn’t have any further problems with breaking out.

Cost: $13.95 GBP, 60 ml / 2 oz

Silkka Garden Apothecary, Blossom Hydration Mist Review

Another lifesaver for me during winter, this hydration mist smells like a floral paradise. Loved it! What can I say? I love floral scents. This mist was super hydrating and gentle on my sensitive skin. I have to confess, at times I would also use it as a perfume! I would definitely repurchase this product.

Cost: $ 15.00 CAD, 60 ml / 2 oz

Silkka Garden Apothecary, Grapefruit + Mint Cleansing Balm Review

This multi-purpose balm was a lifesaver during the winter months. It really helped to moisturize my face when it was extremely dry this winter. I also loved using it as a cleansing balm. I have acne prone, sensitive skin and it didn’t break me out at all. I would repurchase this product, especially during the winter months. When I finished it off recently I’d been using it as a body balm and it works great in that function as well!

Cost: $ 17.00 CAD, 50 ml / 1.6 oz
Available at: Silkka Garden Apothecary
