So I finally got my hands on some Mohop Shoes. I bought the superflat slide. Which they call the moped flat on the company website. I do like them a lot. But these shoes are not the kind you can switch out of easily if you’re wearing them for example to walk to work and then need to change into fancier work shoes in the office. They are easy to take off, but when you put them back on, be prepared to take some time retying them on. Maybe it’s jsut because I’m not used to them yet. I will probably get faster with the retying. Another thing I found a little strange was that I thought I had tied my mohops on tight enough. But when I actually started walking around I found the ribbons had more give than I’d expected. So the first time they almost fell off my feet and I almost tripped. So tie them super tight. Tighter than you would normally think you would need. I’m waiting for the Low Ebony Peeptoe to come in. Maybe that will be better for me to wear than the flats.

I also ordered and received my first item of eco-friendly clothing from a Montreal store called Meemoza. It was the tuxedo cardigan or Miss Draper Cardigan, seen below. It’s made of Modal and Spandex. The feel of the cardigan is very nice. Soft and smooth. It’s also warmer than I thought it would be, since it feels quite thin and light. This would be a good fall season cardigan. Unfortunately the size was a little smaller than I was expecting. I got the cardigan in a Large, their biggest size. But apparently their make is smaller than what other stores would consider a large. I can still wear this cardigan but I have to wear it open and pair it with something that isn’t bulky. So while I liked this item of clothing, unless they make larger sizes in the future or I lose some weight, this clothing line isn’t for me. 😦 The search for eco-friendly clothing continues….
